A Simple, Supportive Process
Getting started, made stress-free.
From your initial phone call to your arrival on campus, every step is focused on understanding your needs and preparing you for success in treatment.
We’ll guide you through each stage, answer your questions, and help you feel confident about what comes next.
Four Clear Steps
Phone interview, orientation, financial consultation, and travel arrangements. Our team is beside you the whole way.
The Four Steps
what to expect, step by step
Each step is designed to be clear and unhurried, so you feel informed and supported the whole way through.
Phone Interview: Getting to Know You
A confidential conversation with an admissions specialist so our clinical team can ensure we provide the right level of care. It’s also your time to ask questions and share what’s bringing you to treatment — we’re here to listen without judgment.
During this call, we’ll discuss:
- Your medical history
- Family history
- Current medical conditions
- Substance use history
- Insurance information (can also be submitted online)
Phone Orientation: Preparing You for Treatment
Once we’ve determined that Waypoint is a good fit, we’ll walk you through a detailed orientation so you know exactly what to expect on arrival and throughout your stay.
During your orientation, we will:
- Review phone and communication policies
- Go over visitor guidelines
- Explain our family program and how loved ones can be involved
- Encourage you to explore our programs, approach, and daily life in treatment
Financial Consultation: Clarity and Peace of Mind
Finances and insurance can feel overwhelming. Our team simplifies the process and provides full transparency so you can focus on your recovery — not the paperwork.
During your financial consultation, we will:
- Verify your insurance benefits
- Review your personalized treatment plan recommended by our medical team
- Discuss any out-of-pocket costs
- Help you make payment arrangements that work for your situation
Travel Arrangements: Planning Your Arrival
The final step is coordinating travel to Waypoint Recovery Center. Whether you’re coming from nearby or across the country, our team helps guide you through logistics for a smooth arrival.
We help coordinate:
- Flight and ground transportation guidance
- Arrival timing with our admissions team
- What to pack and bring on your first day
- A warm welcome the moment you step on campus
